OUR MISSIONAs a department, our goal is to support the academic success, social/emotional development, and college and career readiness of all students. By promoting collaborative relationships between students, staff, families, and the community, we work to empower students and foster their emotional health and well-being. Nipmuc students learn the skills necessary to become responsible 21st century learners and citizens.
MAKING AN APPOINTMENT IN THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR
Students meet with school counselors for a variety of reasons throughout the school year. If you need to talk to your counselor at any point, please feel free to send an email, or fill out this google form. We will be able to schedule appointments, if necessary, or help you with any quick questions you have or information you need. Occasionally, we may ask that students sign up for appointments using a system called Calendly. We plan to use this online platform during times when large groups of students all need appointments. For example, when all seniors need individual college appointments, we will send out Calendly links. Otherwise, email is the best way to reach your counselor. Parents are welcome to reach out via email or phone at 508-529-2130 to ask any questions or schedule an appointment. Additionally, counselors will have open “drop- in” office hours via zoom for students on Wednesdays from 1:00-1:30pm: Ms. Swenson's Office Hours Zoom Link Ms. Fagan's Office Hours Zoom Link Mrs. Towne's Office Hours Zoom Link Mrs. Hefez's Office Hours Zoom Link MEET THE COUNSELING STAFF |
